I am taking medication for my anxiety & depression, can acupuncture still help?

Yes, acupuncture can help. Often acupuncture treatments can help you to feel more stabilized on your medication, lower your dosage or help you with some medication side effects.

Does stress play a role in anxiety & depression?

Yes, often stress can be the trigger that starts the anxiety/depression feelings.  Stress can lead not only to anxiety & depression, but also headaches and migraines, shoulder and neck tension and stiffness, insomnia, inability to focus or concentrate, foggy head feelings, tightness in the jaw, weight gain and many other issues that you may not recognize as stress related.

I don’t feel like I have anxiety or depression bad enough for medication. Could acupuncture help in this situation?
